Information we collect and store

When you register at sitengn.com, or when another user grants you access to contribute to their website, an account is created for you. Your email address and your name are the only required personal details. Other personal details which are optional, but which are stored in your account record, include your company name, your country and your timezone.

When you create a website with sitengn, all of your website's content is stored in a database which is unique to that website.

How we use your information

Your personal information is used only by us, for verifying your access to our services, for communicating with you and for billing and administering your account. We are obliged to comply with the National Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988.

We will use your email address to send you emails necessary for the operation of your account and your websites, including confirmations, notifications and information about upgrades or changes to the service.

If you opt in to receive other information by email, such as newsletters, we will send that information to your email address until you opt out by using an 'unsubscribe' link, or you uncheck the subscription option in your user profile, or your account is closed. 

We will not share your information with third parties, unless:

Your own websites' content will of course be displayed on your website's pages, however you choose to display it, which could be publicly or on customer-only pages. We will not use the data in your websites' databases for any purpose other than to provide our service for your websites.
